The clock was made with the cover only, therefore the record is not included.
It has a clear epoxy coat to protect it.
However, it is not suggested to keep in in full sun or in a bathroom. 
Quartz, silent, clock mechanism requires one AA battery (not included) Alkaline battery is preffered 
In my life I have not seened or noticed any imported records from France, so this is very special.
